Scholarships for Returning Students

Are you an incoming FRESHMAN? There are a number of scholarship opportunities for you at LHU.

Lock Haven University is pleased to offer a wide array of scholarships to enrolled students. This opportunity is a result of the generosity of our many donors who provide funding for our students.

A scholarship is a form of financial aid that does not need to be repaid. Scholarship eligibility may be need-based, merit-based, or both.

  • Need-based awards are based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA  (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Students are encouraged to submit the FAFSA as early as possible.
  • Merit-based awards give priority consideration to grades and extracurricular activities. Scholarships are available in many academic programs of study. We also have awards for students who reside in certain communities or who meet other special criteria.

Students interested in being considered for all LHU Foundation scholarships should complete and submit the Scholarship Application.   To complete the application, currently enrolled students should visit the following link and login using their LHU email and LHU email password.

The priority deadline for maximum consideration is March 20, 2022.
