Lock Haven University will host the Faculty Lecture Series event, "Treating White-Nose Syndrome: The Importance of Protecting Bats and Native Fungal Biodiversity" with Dr. Barrie Overton and LHU student, Abigail Rea at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 in the East Campus Science Center room 215.
Lock Haven recently held its 59th annual Natural Sciences Convocation on Friday, Nov. 8 in the Ulmer Hall Planetarium, on the campus of LHU. The program, sponsored and arranged by the departments of biological sciences, chemistry and geology and physics, celebrated the achievements of LHU science students.
Lock Haven University will host the Faculty Lecture Series event, "The Physics of Guitar: A Lecture and Demonstration" with Dr. Michael Cullin on Tuesday, Dec. 3 in the East Campus Science Center room 215.
LHU professor of geology, Dr. Md. Khalequzzaman, has been involved in water resources research both in Pennsylvania and in Bangladesh - the country of his origin. He recently traveled to Bangladesh to present a paper at an international conference on Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100, a mega project that the government has undertaken to manage land and water resources for the next 100 years and beyond.
