Sports brought 2018 Lock Haven University graduate, Samantha Wilson, to LHU in 2014. Since graduating, sports have remained an integral part of her journey, as she continues building upon the foundation laid at The Haven -- working tirelessly in pursuit of her goal to become a nationally-recognized sports personality.
Dr. Matthew McKeague, assistant professor of communication at Lock Haven University, has been published in the journal, Comedy Studies, advancing his research line of humor analysis.
The National Council of English Teachers (NCET) has deemed "I'm Feeling Blue, Too!" one of 25 Notable Poetry Books for 2021. The children's book, written by Lock Haven University English professor Marjorie Maddox and illustrated by LHU art professor emeritus Philip Huber, was published in August 2020 by Wipf and Stock.
On Friday, May 3, the Lock Haven University communication program held the annual Rebecca Gross Awards Day luncheon and ceremony, celebrating distinguished student and alumni achievements in the communication program at LHU.
