Meal Swipes and Flex
IMPORTANT: This page is for current students who want to get the most out of the meal plan they are currently using. New and returning students who want to sign up for a meal plan to use next academic year will have the opportunity to do so when they participate in the on-campus housing selection process.
Meal Plans consist of Meal Swipes and Flex dollars, conveniently loaded on to your LHU student ID. They unlock delicious meals, coffee, snacks and more at five locations across campus without needing to carry additional cards or cash. Whether you eat three times a day or three times a week, make sure you track your Meal Plan usage, so you get top value.
Using Your Meal Plan
The number of Meal Swipes available depends on the Meal Plan you have. If you have a block plan, you begin the semester with the total number of Meal Swipes you have for use over the course of the semester. If you have a weekly plan (5, 10, 14 or 19), you are allotted Meal Swipes each week. These Meal Swipes must be used the week they are allotted. They will not carry over to the next week. Weekly meal swipes run Monday breakfast through Sunday dinner.
Flex dollars are included with each Meal Plan. Additional Flex may be added to your account at any time. Unused Flex carries over from the fall semester to the spring semester. However, beginning with the 2021/2022 academic year, any Flex remaining on a student’s account at the end of the academic year will be forfeited.

Checking Your Usage
Using your LHU credentials, log in to the Blackboard transact eAccounts- Dining Flex.
|To the left of the screen, you’ll see a box showing your current Flex balance and a box showing the Meal Plan you currently have for the semester.|
|Click on the Flex box to view your account details and a list of recent purchases you made using Flex.|
|Click on the Meal Plan box to see how many Meal Swipes you have used and how many you have remaining.|
