Facilties and Fees
Sieg Conference Center
Sieg is a rustic cabin setting in the middle of the Pennsylvania Wilds along Big Fishing Creek. It is approximately 15 miles from main campus and is used for retreats, fishing education and team building. It can sleep 24 males and 24 females in a dorm room type setting with bunkbeds.
- Day Use - $200 per day
- Overnight - $10 per person per night—not to exceed $300 per night
Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center
Whether it be a baby shower, birthday party, wedding reception or other momentous family occasion, the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center (DACC) makes for the perfect location for your special event. With offerings for small get-togethers or larger events, the options ae customizable to your needs.
The corporate possibilites at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center are also endless! The Center houses multiple fully SMART conference spaces capable of serving groups from 2 to 200. The possibilites are endless for your corporate awards dinner, fundraiser or event in the beautiful Poorman Ballroom.
Classrooms and Conference Rooms - $40 per hour (After 4 Hours - $160/day)
LHU classrooms range in seating from 20-50. Classrooms are set up in traditional “desks in rows,” but we do have uniquely set up rooms with tables, chairs and tiered with SMART technology capabilities. A lot of our classrooms, being exterior rooms, have breath-taking views of the campus and Susquehanna River.
Computer Labs - $60 per hour (After 4 Hours - $240/day)
Our state-of-the-art computer labs are equipped with thin clients, projectors and screens. We offer an 18-seat lab located in our Stevenson Library for smaller groups. If a larger training area is what you need, we have labs with 30 seats in Akeley and Robinson. Guest accounts will be provided once the reservation is confirmed.
Distance Education Labs and Classrooms - $80 per hour (After 4 Hours - $320/day)
You can’t go wrong in conducting a large meeting or training workshop in one of our new tiered classrooms at the East Campus Science Center or reaching out to another location in one of our distance education labs.
LHU has a variety of rooms varying in seating capacities that enable two-way communications with a distant site. These facilities are fully equipped with student and teacher cameras, thin clients, document camera and are able to share content with the another site. Microphones are set up for every two people and the camera will focus on anyone speaking. Wireless microphones, handheld and lapel mics are provided.
We also have facilities that have the same capabilities as the above-noted space, but do not have the distance education connection. They too vary in size and set up (i.e. classroom, conference room or auditorium.)
Small Auditoriums - $80 per hour
Hamblin Hall of Flags
Hamblin Hall of Flags is a 136 seat capacity tiered auditorium located on the first floor of Robinson Learning Center. Hamblin is equipped with Smart technology with an over-sized screen. The comfortable seats allow for all-day training sessions.
Perfect for discovering the night time stars as you sit in this charming all wood 246 seat auditorium. The Planetarium is equipped with Smart technology with an over-sized screen.
Large Auditoriums - $100 per hour (3 Hour Minimum)
Price Performance Center
Price Performance Center is the cultural center of the University. Performances by our Performing Arts Department are show-cased here. The seating capacity of 672 enables large crowds to enjoy music, theatre, ceremonies and so much more.
This 300-seat theatre is designed to show case the talents of LHU students throughout the academic year. The over-sized stage allows for incredible stage designs and props. Great for large lectures and guest speakers.
