The Vision of the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs division is to demonstrate a philosophy of proactive leadership, collaboration, continual assessment, and improvement that increases student retention and success at LHU.

Enrollment Management strives to provide excellent opportunities for students to connect to the university socially and academically by implementing innovative, effective and sustainable student-centered policies and procedures. By recruiting and retaining talented, motivated, responsible students the division works to create an environment of inclusion that engages the entire campus community and thereby provides excellent opportunities for all students. Committing to care about the health of students’ finances is also an important goal. As a result, the division has integrated financial literacy opportunities for all students.

Student Affairs works to foster student success by creating a positive living-learning experience for all students and actively promote the benefits of living on-campus by marketing all programs and services offered to the campus community through all means available. Providing facilities and services responsive to student development needs—and to the physical, social, recreational, and continuing educational needs of the campus community—is essential to developing and implementing programs and activities which stimulate cultural, intellectual, and social life on the campus community. Student Affairs also works to assist students in gaining leadership experience by providing opportunities to learn and apply leadership techniques, theories, and models.
