Affiliated Organizations

Athletics - LHU participates in NCAA Division II as a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for most sports. Field hockey and wrestling participate in NCAA Division I as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference and Mid-American Conference (MAC) respectively.

Hope CenterThe HOPE Center (Haven Outreach Programs for Empowerment) exists to support, empower, and enlighten all students about issues of sex, gender, sexual violence, personal safety and health, social justice and educational equity. Our programs and events are designed to foster open discussion and intellectual exchange about these and other issues, to promote an overall sense of well-being, and to create a safe campus climate for all.

Office Of Disability Services - The ODSS assists the university in providing reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities in the university community, and guests and visitors who utilize the university facilities. Employees with disabilities are invited to contact the Human Resources office for information about reasonable accommodations.

President’s Commission on LGBTQ Affairs - The mission of the President’s Commission on LGBTQ Affairs is to create a more inclusive and supportive campus and community climate through education, activism, and advocacy for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

President’s Commission on the Status of Women  - The President’s Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) is a campus-wide committee that helps ensure equal parity for women in all aspects of campus life. The PCSW is comprised of a collective body of faculty, students, staff, and administrative representatives.

Robert and Delores Multicultural Center - The MRC is designed to foster healthy relationships and community on campus by focusing on student success, leadership, and engagement. It is open to all students and will serve as an inclusive place where students can feel welcome, safe, and respected. In addition, a wealth of programming will be created to introduce students to different cultures, ethnicities, and religions.
