Spring 2015 Faculty Discussion of General Education Assessment Results
The inaugural campus-wide forum to discuss general education student learning results for ways to improve teaching and learning was held January14th during University Days. While the turnout of 34 faculty members in attendance was fewer than desired, it was still a good showing on which we can build for the next learning assessment discussion in August during University Days. Some wonderful suggestions came from the discussion and we will be following up on these recommendations and seek to implement possible changes to make processes stronger for future learning assessment on campus. A section on curriculum mapping is included as well, which was part of the discussion.
