It was in 2019, that LHU graduate Heather (Keegan) Fowler started Before & After Counseling in Avis, Pa. Over the past two years, Fowler has helped clients assess the causes of their emotional trauma and establish healthy coping skills to improve their mental health. For Fowler, it was a traumatic experience of her own -- the loss of her 12-year-old son -- that led to her opening her practice.
In 2019, Dr. Beth McMahon retired after 22 years of teaching in Lock Haven University's Health Science Department.
