
Mia Swales is a Graduate Student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
Mia is 2019 alumnae of LHU she received her undergraduate degree in Communication
with a minor in Sociology. In undergrad Mia was a Resident Assistant in Woolridge
Hall. One of her primary responsibilities on campus now is The Haven Cupboard working
as the Graduate Assistant with the Office of Student Outreach, Assistance, and Resources
(S.O.A.R). Mia works with the planning and presenting of orientation and mentoring
students on campus, in efforts to acclimate and retain students. Mia has also participated
in conferences with the Multicultural, Advisory, Activity Council (MAAC) alongside
other institutions in Pennsylvania.
Mia is Southern Maryland born and raised but has found great pride in Lock Haven University
and the Lock Haven community.
