Lock Haven University alumna, Tina (Marshall) Bickel, released her first children's chapter book, "Welcome Home, Diesel! The Adventure Begins," on April 11.

Lock Haven University elementary and middle level education students attended the annual Pennsylvania Association for Middle Level Education (PAMLE) conference in State College earlier in the spring semester. At the conference the students were able to network with other students and schools, while also attending learning sessions on different topics in relevance to middle level education.

Loyalty to the university that helped change her life. Paying it forward in honor of mentors who preceded her. Rewarding the passion and commitment of Lock Haven University (LHU) athletic training students. These are some of the reasons 1992 alumna and LHU faculty member, Dr. Yvette Ingram, provides philanthropic support to the LHU Foundation.

On April 15, the Sport Studies Department sent four students and one professor to the Pittsburgh Pirates Careers in Sport Night held at PNC Park. Taun Evans, Jasmyne Kymer, Morgan McCutcheon, Lynzee Polites and Dr. Dain TePoel attended a panel and networking session where students received expert advice on pathways into careers in sports.
