The Board of Governors for Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education unanimously approved a measure Wednesday, July 14 to integrate six institutions into two new universities, the latest action in a multi-year system redesign effort to bolster student success and institutional sustainability.

ROTC cadet Kailynn G. Smith recently was awarded the John F. Curcio Scholarship at Lock Haven University.

Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education recently held its annual State System Startup Challenge.

During the fall 2020 semester, recognizing the possibility of unspoken food insecurities among university students, the Lock Haven University Clearfield campus opened a food pantry to meet the needs of those students.

Lock Haven University will host in-person weekday visits and open house events throughout the summer. An open house is planned for Saturday, June 5 on the campus of LHU.
