Throughout the pandemic, Lock Haven University faculty and staff have worked hard to mitigate COVID-19 on campus in many ways. Earlier this year, the university assembled a COVID Institutional Response (IR) team consisting of 13 faculty and staff members.

GivingTuesday, celebrated annually on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, began in 2012 as a way to encourage people to do good and to give to nonprofit and charitable organizations.

Lock Haven University held a virtual graduation celebration at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating Class of 2020. The video was available for viewing on the LHU homepage as well as through a Facebook live video premiere, where the graduates and their friends and family members were online watching together.

For students considering a career in athletics, as a coach, manager, agent or director in a high school, college or minor or major league sports, Lock Haven University and Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) recently have completed an agreement that allows students who have earned an associate degree in sport management from LCCC to transfer seamlessly to LHU's bachelor's degree in sport administration.

Lock Haven University Clearfield recently announced a new degree offering in social work. Although this degree has been offered at the Lock Haven campus for many years, it will now be available to those who choose to stay in the Clearfield area.
