Featured, general, Commonwealth University, integration July 1, 2022
After more than 18 months of work by nearly 1,000 individuals, the integration of Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield universities under the banner of Commonwealth University officially took place on Friday, July 1.

During the spring semester, Dr. Mary Tatum from the Children's Advocacy Center of Clearfield traveled to Commonwealth University-Lock Haven to present in Dr. Michael J. McSkimming's victimology class in Akeley Hall alongside her K-9 companion, "Kirby."

The Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Student Activities Office recently announced their 2023 Leadership and Service Awards. The Leadership Awards honor both student and advisor service to clubs and organizations during the academic year. All names are submitted by nomination to the Student Activities Office from the campus community and a committee from student activities reviews all nominations and decides the winners.

Sixteen students and three faculty members from the Commonwealth University-Lock Haven social work department traveled to Washington D.C. for a service trip to the Kidspace program, part of the House of Ruth network of social service programs.

The Commonwealth University-Lock Haven athletic training program hosted its annual awards banquet, recognizing the 2023 graduating class and honoring student achievements. The banquet was held in the Durrwachter Alumni Center on Wednesday, May 10.
