Due Dates for the fall 2017 Calendar

Candidacy Application: Due Date: When all Candidacy requirements have been completed. (Candidacy is the official acceptance of students into a teacher certification program, thus allowing the candidate to take selected advanced courses in his/her major leading to teacher certification.)  Note: Candidacy applications will not be processed second week of June through second week of August (Please plan accordingly).

Developing Portfolio Application: Due Date: Thursday, September 21, by 3:30 pm (Teacher Education candidates, who plan to register for spring 2018 Professional Semester (Block) must present their Developing Portfolio to their program coordinator in fall 2017)

Professional Semester Application (Block): Due Date: Thursday, September 21, by 3:30 pm Teacher Education Candidates must have a 3.0 GPA overall and all Developing Portfolio requirements met in order to be eligible for the professional semester. Professional Semester applicants must also submit evidence of liability insurance, current clearances and a negative TB test.

Proof of Liability Insurance: Due Date: Thursday, October 19, by 3:30 pm.  Required for Professional Semester (Block) Block II for Secondary Education and Student Teaching.
