Programs Developed: 

  • Developed the Disability and Community Services (DCS) program as an undergraduate major within the Department of Special Education. This interdisciplinary major prepares students to work as professionals serving individuals with disabilities through community agencies.
  • Developed the Comparative Special Education study abroad experience in in the Dominican Republic. This short term program allows students to teach in a variety of settings in the DR and to gain further understanding of a developing country through community service experience.
