The Office of Environmental Health and Safety provides advice and guidance on occupational
and environmental health and safety issues to the Lock Haven University community.
Our mission is to provide a safe and healthy workplace free from recognized hazards
and to work with the university's departments and organizations to ensure each department
provides an environment that protects and promotes the health and safety of all students,
employees, and visitors of LHU.
Each department complies with environmental health and safety laws, regulations, and
recognized standards developed for the protection of individuals. Each department
identifies strategies and processes to reduce risks and loss.
