Lock Haven University senior, Dan McGonigal, is preparing for medical school in the fall, but his LHU education began when he took dual enrollment classes at the university's Clearfield campus as a senior at West Branch High School.
The Lock Haven University physician assistant program was the first of its kind in the Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) when it began in 1996, and has since continued to build on its reputation as a national leader for supplying underserved populations with much needed quality healthcare providers.
More than 40 Lock Haven University health science students, along with Dr. Beth McMahon, LHU professor, recently traveled to Philadelphia to the visit America's finest museum of medical history, the Mutter Museum.
