Lock Haven University is celebrate the 150th anniversary of its founding this year. The sesquicentennial brings an exciting opportunity to celebrate the history, legacy and traditions of the institution. Lock Haven University’s birthday celebration officially launched on February 14, 2020, in honor of the day the institution received its Charter – February 14, 1870. We have several events and activities planned to keep the celebration going all year long!

LHU invites you to get involved in the celebration by sharing your ideas and stories and saving the date for signature anniversary events. This site will continue to be updated with anniversary events and news, so check back often!
