Lock Haven University and UPMC Susquehanna have announced a partnership that will provide important opportunities for health education to LHU students, UPMC employees and the local community.

The Lock Haven University departments of English and philosophy and of history, political science, international studies and foreign languages will welcome guest speaker Dr. Mark Sachleben to speak on "Brexit? Causes, Reactions and Implications from British and European Perspectives," at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 in the Willis Health Professions Building, room 105, Greenburg Auditorium, on the campus of LHU.

The Lock Haven University Young Americans for Liberty will host the lecture, "The Rise of Populism," with Nigel Farage at 7 p.m. Friday, April 26 at the Poorman Amphitheater on the campus of LHU.

Lock Haven University will hold The Gerald R. Robinson Academic Honors and Foundation Awards Convocation ceremony at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 28 in the Price Performance Center Auditorium, on the LHU campus.

The Lock Haven University Social Work Club of the Stephen Poorman College of Business, Information Systems and Human Services, recently traveled to Philadelphia for a service trip on April 7.
