In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lock Haven University will waive the SAT/ACT score requirement for prospective students effective immediately.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lives in so many ways and has forced us to alter our way of life.

Lock Haven University English and creative writing professor, Marjorie Maddox, recently published a new book from Kelsay Books. Geared toward a middle-grade and young adult audience, "Inside Out: Poems on Writing and Reading Poems with Insider Exercises" already has garnered attention from poets of all ages, and their teachers.

Lock Haven University freshman Sarah Rowles, of Mifflintown, participated in the 73rd Annual PA Intercollegiate Band Festival hosted by California University earlier this year.

Lock Haven University recently has instituted several incentives to help attract students to LHU this fall, including merit-based, need-based and federal and state aid; waiving the SAT/ACT score requirement for prospective students seeking consideration for the fall 2020 semester; and a tuition freeze.
